Sukkah Take-down – (8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.)

Come help disassemble the sukkah and pack it all up til next year.

Red Cross Blood Drive – (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Kol Emet sanctuary)

Donors must sign up and schedule their appointment online at www.redcrossblood.org and choose sponsor code: Kol Emet Yardley or call Lisa Gressen (215) 497-9075.

Adopt-A-Highway – (9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.)
Recommended for Hey and Daled classes. Children must be at least 8 years old.

Great mitzvah activity for families!
Clean up along River Rd. (north of Yardley) from the boat launch parking area to the Scudders Falls bridge (wear boots and gloves). Meet at Yardley boat launch. RSVP to Greg Frank (gregfpa321@gmail.com).

Mitzvah Garden Cleanup (11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
Recommended for Aleph and Bet classes

Help put the garden to bed for the winter. Clean out the garden of the wilted summer plants and weeds, roll up the hose and cover the beds with their winter blankets. Bring gloves and rakes. RSVP to Greg Frank (gregfpa321@gmail.com).

House Rehab Opportunity (10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
Recommended for adults and children 14 or older

Volunteers will meet at Kol Emet at 10:30 a.m. and caravan to the Eastern Service Workers Association office at 6 West End Ave. in Trenton to participate in the ongoing all volunteer rehab of a Trenton row home from 11:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. Come dressed to paint, spackle and perform other assigned tasks. Cook for a Friend Meal Preparation (10:00 a.m. – noon)
Recommended for Aleph, Kadima and Mechina. Great for families and student volunteers.

Help assemble meals for shut-in members of the Northeast Philadelphia Jewish community. Each volunteer should bring a dairy pasta dish as well as frozen vegetables or canned fruit. RSVP to Amy Hampel (215-429-0122 | ahampel@comcast.net).

Nature Trail Project (11:00 a.m. – noon)
Open to all Religious School families and Youth Group students

Renew and groom the Kol Emet Nature Trail. Students and parents should wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, hats and boots.

Household Goods Donation (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

Clean out your home of unwanted household items and clothing and drop them off in the Kol Emet parking lot. Trenton Rescue Mission appreciates your support of the needy.
